THE SPINSTERS RETURN.
Ths Play Given by the Ladies of the
Presbyterian and Episcopal Churches
Quite a Success.
TJbe Spinsters return at the court
house Wednesday, was one of the most
amusing and sacessful entertainments
given in our town for sometime. The
court house was packed to its utmost
capacity, even standing room being
at a premium. Quite a number of
the young ladies and several young
men of our town took part in this play
and each, and every one deserves
credit for the manner ia which their
parts were carried ont Miss Ella
Jttolengui, quite a talented young
adj of Charleston, deserves much
>raise for the thorough training of
hese young ladies in their various
Nurts. From a financial standpoint
also, this entertainment was a great
success and the energetic ladies feel
‘ally repaid for their trouble in the
preparation for this play.
