Agricultural Writer Deed.
Nashville, Tenn., March 17.—Joseph
B. Klllebrew, aged 76. is dead at St.
Thomas hospital in this city. Colo
nel Klllebrew was secretary of agri
culture for Tennessee for a number
of years, and was widely known as s
writer on agricultural and industrial
subjects. He was perhaps better In
formed on the miners resources of the
south than any man in the country.

Indianapolis, March 17.—The convent
tlon of the United Mine Workers^ of
America, has voted $6,000 for the le-
gaf defense of C. H. Moyer, W. D.
Heywood and Pettibone, officers of the
Western Federation of Miners, who
are under indictment in Idsho charged
