Crawfordville. Ca. f Feb. 24.—Mrs. W. O. Stewart was horribly burned gt her home near Robinson, so that as a result of the Injuries sustained she dlel later in the day. One of Mrs. Stewart’i children set fire to some grass In the garden near the dwelling where Mrs. Stewart lived, and ahe went out to the place for the purpose of putting out the Are. It was while trying to extinguish the fUwthat Mrs. Stewart’s clothinf caught fire and before anything could be done to smother the flames she was burned so badly that it was impossible t» save her life by medical akill.
