There are a good many of that denomination who will Is glad of the service there, u the thnrch at Adams Run is too far for the people around here to attend segnlxrly. Especially will the Sun day school be e welcomed thing there. The Bishop, Rev Mr Gnerry and -ether officers and those interested in the new chnrch met at the resi dence of Dr Kershaw and made flans and arrangements to begin the work immediately. By God’s will and blearing, we hope to hold service in onr new church or chapel by this summer. Coshocton, O:, Feb. 24.—Anonymous threatening letters caused pretty Rosa March, of this city, to go violently in sane. Some time ago Mlse Marsh re fused the attentions of a local young man and since that time ahe haa been receiving threatening letters. Thss preyed on the girl’s mind until her rea son was unseated. Nashville, Tenn., Feb. 24.—Colonel John Terrill Robeson, a distinguished federal soldier, and for years a mem ber of the consular service under Pres idents Grant and Johnson, is dead at his residence In this city, aged 60. Col onel Rbbeson was consul general to Scotland under President Johnson. He was later made consul to Tangier. He also served In the consular ^ services at other points. Woman la Fatally Injured. Mobile. Ala., Feb. 24.—At Whistler, Ala., a suburb of Mobile, Friday night the horse driven by Mrs. Rachel Thomas became frightened at a south bound Mobile and Ohio pasenger train, and overturned tbe wagon. When Mrs. Thomas fell she was kicked on tbe head by tbe horse and fatally in jured. Lams Back.
