The petitioners were aware that the county board of « control had not the jurisdiction to give them the relief asked for, viz: the closing of the dispensary, hence they appealed to the governor to take such steps as he knew to be proper. Now that we understand that the petition has been referred to the county board to act upon, we, the petitioners have only to hope that, that board, will thoroughly appre ciate the situations and use their ut termost efforts to-better the condi tion, as far as their jurisdiction in such matters admit.
