man Minor Meriwether, Jr., ot Louisi
ana, who attained much notoriety by
engaging In a fight with Midshipman
James R. Branch, Jr., in which the lat
ter recelred fatal injuries, has been
placed under arrest on the charge of
hazing. The charge is supported by
six specifications alleging the basing
of sereral different fourth-class men
by requiring them to do different phy
sical exercises.
