Application For Charter and Meeting
Of Stock Subscribers.
Notice is hereby given that after
three days publication hereof the undersigned
will apply to the Secretary
of State of South Carolina for a
charter to be issued to and in the
name of "The Family Shoe Store," a
proposed corporation uu^'er the laws
of the State of South Carolina; and in
accordance with law, the undersigned
will, after the expiration of the said
period of time, file the required declaration
with the Secretary of State
of South Carolina.
The principal place of business of
the proposed corporation will be in
the City of Union, South Carolina;
the general nature of business proposed
to be done is retail and wholesale
dealing in shoes, hosiery and
general merchandise; the proposed
corporation is to have the rights,
powers and privileges of business
corporations under the general laws
of the State of South Carolina; and
?T the authorized capital stock of the
^ said proposed corporation will be
eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00)
divided into eighty (80) shares of the
par value of one hundred dollars
($100.00) each.
The meeting of the subscribers to
the capital stock of the proposed corporation
will be held in the office of

50 1-2 West Main St., in the City of
Union, South Carolina, on the 30th
day of December, 1922, at 6 o'clock
in the afternoon, and at such times
and places as the said meeting may
be adjourned, for the purpose of perfecting

Friday evening at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Osmond Barber on Tom
Hall street, the ceremony being performed
by the Rev. R. H. VifSY?~yM*
tor of Fort Mill Presbyterian church,
assisted by Rev. R. L. Keaton, pastor
of St. John's Methodist church, in
the presence of only a few friends
and relatives. After the ceremony,
a wedding supper was served, and the
bride and groom took the northbound
evening train for a tour, from which
they will return and make their home
in Fort Mill. The bride ik a daughter
of the late Col. R. W. Hamilton and
his wife of Jonesville, who has been
