Offered Young Men
A number of young men from this
city are expected to take advantage
of the opportunity to attend a mili'
tary training camp this summer. Last
year the school was held at Camp
Jackson and all seemed greatly pleas,
ed with the military training secured
there. This year men from this section
may attend the school at Camp
McClellan, near Anniston, Alabama.

The Red course is intended for those
without previous military train'ng
the age limit being 17 to 25 years.
' The White course is intended for grad>
nates of the Rp<l pnnro# r\f ll.no/.

what may be gained by completing the
Red course. The age limit for this
course is 18 to 26 years. The Blue
course is the highest of the three and
has as its object the training of meiv
whose prior military experience will
justify their qualification for commissions
in the Officers' Reserve corps.
The age limit is 19 to 27 years. The
maximum age limit for those who
have served in the Regular army. N'i
tional guard, or organized reserves,
especially world war veterans, is 35
yearn.
Applicants will be required to undergo
a preliminary physical examination
and a certificate showing inoculation
against typhoid fever and vaccination
against small pox must accompany
the application. If no medical
officer of the army, National
Guard, or Reserve Corps is available,
in your vicinity, the examination may
be conducted by any r? putable physician,
and upon his reonost the government
will supply the v ;c"im? for
typhoid inoculation.
All uniforms, including hats and
5-hoes, together with other equipment
will be furnished tho student, but he
must supply himself with underclothes
and toilet articles. Transportation will
be furnished, or the student may pay
his own way to the camp and be reimbursed
immediately after arrival at
the ra'e of fivp c?nts per mile and
three dollars a day for subsistence.
Meats and quarters at camp will, of
course, bo free. The afternoons will
be devoted largjely to athletics under
competent supervision and many opportunities
for recreation provided,
including a swimming pool and moving
picture theater. Students are urgq
