THURSDAY, APRIL 27. 1922. f The Kurman-Davidson baseball teams crossed bats upon the local > diamond yesterday. It was a snappy k'ame from start to finish, and the large number of attendants was grat- 1 ifying to the fans. It was a clean ' game. The young fellows played ball, good ball, and the behavior of the spectators was all that could be desired. During the first half of the game Davidson seemed to have the advantage. The final score, J to 2, in favor of Fur man, was a hard-earned _ victory. .j It is refreshing to see clean sports 1 in our colleges, and one could not look 5, upon the manly fellows from Furman 5. and Davidson and note their conduct 1 while here without feeling that liiey a represented clean sport. And the play- X ing?it was some playing! X The community is under obligations !|< to the Young Men's Business League A generally, and to 1). N. Wilburn, K. | llaynes Harris and I). N.
