DOGS? Dors, that for the privilege of keeping and owning a dog or dogs within the City limits of the City of Union, S. C., the owner or keeper thereof shall pay an annual license of $1.00 for each dog. That from and after the first day of June, 1921, it shall be unlawful for any dog owned or kept in the City of Union, S. C., to be unon the streets of said City without a collar on and a Tax Tag attached thereto; the said Tax Tag to be furnished by the City Clerk and Treasurer with a receipt for said Tax, at the time of payment thereof. That after said date, any dog or dogs found or appearing upon the streets of Union without having on said collar and tag shall be taken up and impounded, I and notice of said impounding, with description of said dog shall be posted upon the public bulletin Board, and ulso in or near the Postotlice for twenty-four (24) I hours; that the owner or person claiming said dog or dogs may, within the time limited recover said dog or dogs upon the payment of $2.00 for each dog so impounded. C., without having a collar and tax tag on, and which, after reasonable effort can not be impounded, and after giving notice to the owner, upon its subsequent coming upon the streets without having on a collar and tax tag, may be killed then and there by any Policeman or Officer.
