against
Rasor's Garage, et al., Defendants.
In pursuance of an order made in
the above entitled cause of E. P. Norman,
et al., Plaintiffs against Rasor's
Garage, Incorporated, et al., Defendante,
dated October 15th, 1921, the
undersigned as the Receivers of the
Defendant, Rasor's Garage, (Incorporated),
will, on Salesday, January 2,
1922, during the legal hours of
sale, before the Court House door at
Union, South Carolina, sell to the
highdst bidder therefor the following
described property, to wit:
"All that certain piece, parcel or
lot of land, with a three-story brick
building thereon, situated, lying and
being on the southeast corner of
Pinckney and Academy Streets of the
City of Union, said County and State,
and being kpown as lots Nos. 10 and
11 of the property of John L. Young,
deceased, as appears by a plat of the
same made by J. L. McPhearson, C.
E., in November and December, 1903,
fronting on Academy Street a distance
of seventy-three (73) feet, more
or less, and running back therefrom
to negro church lot, and along Pinckney
Street a distance of one hundred
and twenty-nine (129) feet, more or
less, and being bounded on the north
by Academy Street, on the east by
lot now or formerly belonging to Mrs.
P. O. Willard, on the south by lot
known as Negro Church lot and on the
west by said Pinckney Street; the
above described lot being composed of
two lots known as lots Nos. 10 and
11 of the John L. Young Virgin and
Academy Street property, and conveyed
to the said Rasor's Garage.
Inc., by deeds dated the 15th day of
October, 1919, recorded in the office of
the Clerk of Court for said County
and State in Deed Book No. 51 at page
104 and on the 1st day of November,
1919, and recorded in the above men

51 at page 106; said lot being com
monly known as the property of Rasor's
Garage, Inc.
Terms of sale to be one-third cash,
purchaser to pay for revenue stamps
and papers. Balance in two equal
installments, together with in*
on each installment from date

" to be secured by bond of purchaser
and mortgage of the premises.
The srile of said lot of land
and the building thereon is not
to include (he elevator thereon nor the
gasoline tank and oil pumps, but the
same will be sold separately immediately
after the sale of the said lot,

to be cash.
Each bidder before being allowed to
bid, shall be required to deposit with
the said receivers a certified check in
the sum of three hundred dollars or
its equivalent in cash, same to become
forfeited upon the failure of the

or bidders credit shall be given on
such bid for such sum so deposited

tank and pumps, etc., shall have thirty
days in which to disconnect and remove

Fish Dam township, County and State
aforesaid, containing three hundred
and fifteen acres, more or less, and

estate of J. S. Welch, deceased, and

two hundred and nine acres,

the lands of the late J. B. Steadman
as Tract No. 4, survey of G. W. Peake,
and hath such marks, butting and
boundaries as a plat made by John R.
Smith, surveyor, more fully represents.
Tract No- 2. Alen nil flint
tract or plantation of land, lying and
being in the Township, County and
State aforesaid, containig six hundred
and fifty-five acres, more or less,
known as Tracts Nos, 2, 3 and 4 in
the division of the lands of J. L. Sims,
lands owned by J. S. Welch, deceased,
as will fully appear by reference to a
plat thereof, made by O. D. I'eake,
surveyor, September, 1884, bounded
on the East by Bcoad river, North by
Tract No. 9 of the J. L. Sims' home
place, and lands formerly owned by
Coleman, on the West by lands formerly
of Jeter and B. P. Sims, and
South by Herbert lands.
Tract No. 8. Also, all that piece,
parcel or tract of land, lying -and being
in Fish Dam Township, said County
and State, near Herbert station, on
the Southern Railway, containing five
hundred, eleven and two-tenths acres,
more or less, and having such shapes,

L. P. Sims. Said tract is composed
of four tracts heretofore conveyed to
Julian J. Welch and Lawrence J.

by deed dated Nov. 27, 1914, recorded
in Deed Book No. 45, at page 299,

title and interest of Mrs. Louise B.
Welch and Nat Sims Welch (formerly
of Lawrence J. Welch, deceased), being
a one-half undivided interest, in
and to all that certain piece, parcel
or tract of land, with improvements
thereon, lying and being in the County
and State aforesaid, containing one
hundred and fifty (150) acfes, more ot
less, and being a portion of a tract
containing 1780 acres, more or less,
as described in the mortgage of Lawrence
J. Welch to Merchants and
Planters National Bank, dated the
day of , 1919, and
recorded in Mortgage Book T, 20,
page 271.
Terms of sale: One-third cash and
balance in two equal annual installments
secured by bonds of purchasers
and mortgages of premises sold, deferred
payments to bear interest at
the rate of 7 per cent per annum.

papers and stamps. The tracts of
kind will bo sold in the order indicated
above, and before any bid is accepted
on any of said tracts, a cash deposit

made with the Master except in case
