ARMISTICE ARRANGED
WITH POLAND
Paris, July JO.?The limitations
which Great Britain and France would
put upon Soviet demands of Poland in
the arranging of an armistice are set
forth in a notification which has been
dispute!."d to the Warsaw government
by the British and French governments,
it was learned here today
Poland requested the views of Great
Britain and France on possible armistice
terms and the governments at
London and Paris have notified th<
Polish government that they will nol
permit Poland to accept possible soviel
armistice demands involving:
First. Whole or partial disarma
men of Poland.
Second. A change in the Polisl
system of government dictated o:
brought about by the Soviets.
Third. Acceptance by Poland of :
boundary line less favorable than tha
provisionally drawn by Premier Lloy<
George.
Fourth. The use of Poland as J
bridgehead, in any sense, betweei
Germany and Russia.
As bearing on the military situatio;
it develops that vast stocks of muni
tions from the allies are moving to
ward Warsaw today from Danzig, o
the Baltic, and from Rumania an
Czecho-Slovakia.
These munitions were for the nios
part originally dispatched for th
army of General Denikene, but wer
delayed on the way until too late t
be available for his use. Other muni
tions are expected to be in process o
shipment from France and Great Brit
ain for Poland within a few days.
Hungary has asked the permissio
of Great Britain and France to attael
the Soviet army. Such an attael
would involve permission, likewise, t
reorganize the Hungarian army, th<
demobilization of which was provide*
for by the Hungarian peace treaty.
