"Prisoner, pardon me a moment,*' said the judge, "you must speak a little louder; I cannot catch what you say. What was your last sentence?" "Six months, your honor," was the amazing reply. Where is Thy Sting? j Aunt Sallie was paying a visit to the family for the first time in years and had told them how rude she thought little Willie wras. In similar complimentary vein, the family told her just how much Willie resembled her. But the edge was taken out of the compliment when all of them heard Willie say, as he went out into the dark hall 011 his way to bed: "Go on, grab me, ol' bogey man. T don't care. They say I look just like Aunt Sallie." Deceptive Appearances. "Wimmen vote this year." "Yes. and these short skirts make a lot of wimmen look like little girls." "That's right. You gotta be careful who you try to pat on the head."?
