KILLED BROTHER?
Buster Cooker, Eight Years Old, in
Spartanburg Jail.
Spartanburg, Aug. S. ? Buster
Cooker, eight years of age, of Woodruff,
Spartanburg county, was lodged
in the county jail yesterday on a
charge of having shot and instantly
killed his little five year old brother
Wednesday night. From the evidence
brought out at the coroner's inquest
it appears that the two boys were
alone in their aunt's home, other
members of the family having gone to
church and that young Fred Cooker
dashed a glass of water into his
brother's face while asleep, the older
boy was awakened and it was believed
' crawled upstairs into an attic securing
a single barrelled shot gun
with which he almost completely
blew his little brother's head off, it
is stated.
Responsibility for the crime was
fixed upon Buster Cooker by the coroner's
inquest. This is believed to be
the youngest defendant ever arrested
in this county charged with a capital
offense.

Good Tobacco Sales.
Timmonsville, Aug. 7.?The sales
of tobacco on this market last month
were more than 2,000,000 pounds
and prices paid turned into the farmers'
pockets over half a million dollars.
This is for the Timmonsville
market alone.
The exact" number of pounds sold
here up to August 1 were 2,232,109
for which the farmers realized $552,932.18.
The tobacco continues to
pour in and the sales every day are
extra heavy. Today is a record breaker.
At 6 o'clock there is no sign of
let up in the sales. Better grades
continue to bring fine prices, some of
them up in the seventies.

I would soon be in the bed and in a
serious condition for I felt so badly
and was so nervous and weak I could
hardly live. My husband asked Dr.
about my taking CarduL He
said, 'It's a good medicine, and good
for that trouble', so he got me 5 bottles...
After about the second bottle I
felt greatly improved...before taking
it my limbs and hands and arms
would go to sleep. After taking it,
however, this poor circulation disappeared.
My strength came back to
me and I was soon on the road to
health. Aiter the use of about 5 bottles,
I could do all my house-work
and attend to my six children besides."

that Doan's Kidney Pills are a right

until I could hardly stand
It. I felt miserable. I could hardly
get around to attend to my housework
as I always telt weak and irritable
My kidneys needed attention in the
worst way and when Doan's Kidney

trouble and put my kidneys m good
