Mrs. Ida Waddill died at the home of her brother-in-law, Mr. Edgar L. Price, in this city last Friday afternoon. Deceased had been in bad health for several years, but her last illness only lasted a little over a week. She was thirty-seven years old, and was a daughter of the late Capt. Geo. P. Bamberg. She leaves a mother, sister aud brother, and many other relatives. The interment took place at the old cemetery Saturday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. M. W. Ho >k. Following were the pall-bearers: W. D. Rhoad, W. W. Lightsev, J. J. Jones, ,T. P. Matheny, W. R. Wright, H. Spann Dowling. Mr. Skottowe Sandifer, who lived near town, died Tuesday afternoon, after an illness of about a" mouth with typhoid fever. The burial took place yesterday at Ghent's Branch church, the services being conducted by Rev. M. L. Lawsou. He was about 24 years old and leaves a wife and numerous relatives, nis ueaiu was peculiarly a sad one. Mrs. Susan Rentz died at her home iu the Hartzogsection last Friday afternoon, at the advanced age of 72 years. She had a stroke of paralysis about a month ago, and this caused her death. The burial took place Sunday at the family buryiug ground at Edisto. Mrs. Rentz' leaves several cdildreu, amond them being Mr. T. J. Rentz and Mrs. Jno. Cooner. Honor Roll. Just after we went to press with our paper last Thursday, the county Democratic executive committee met and declared the result of the election in this county.
