Best died at at his home in Kline at alrout seven o’clock VVed- nesday evening of last week, after heiiifr confined to his bed for many ninths, following a stroke of paraly sis. He was in his 7<M,h year. Mis body was laid t-o rest Thursday after* noon in the cemetery at < avg s Church, the funeral sere-vice^ being conducted by the Revs. Jones and 1 Martin, pastors of the Methodist I and Baptist Churches of Kline, re-J sportively. Mr. Best is sifVVivecWiy his wife, who was Miss AH«fe Hogg before her marriage, two sons, Messrs. Henry I>. Best and. G.| C. Polk; The truck hit a rough, spot in the road and the boy’s hat was thrown from his head. In reaching for his hat, he fell from the truck and under the wheels, which passed over his head. The little fellow lived only a few minutes and v,a«- <y*ad IWore he could be' carried to Allendale.- His head was badly crushed but no other part of his 4 body was touched hy the truck. He was a pupil in the second grade at the Allendale school and is survived hy his father * and one brother, the m< -her having died about a year ago.
