Local Fisherman Makes Big Haul.

who will have charge of the Allendale
school next year have been elected,
and all but four have been definitely

big catch of fish in Little Salk"-
hatchie River, landing .53 nice trout
and jack, tieing his previous record
for one day’s fishing. Another party
of local fishermen who visited Big
Satkehatchie the day before to fish

has been shown jn fishing this Spring
than ever before, parties of fishermen
from other sections passing through
Baitiwell 1 almost every day on their
way to the streams in the lower part
of the Stab 1 .

unsportsmanlike fishermen trapping
and dynamiting large numbers of the
“finny tribe." If this condition is

a Car driven by Mrs. Mew, who lives
near Lees. The accident, which is
said to have been unavoidable, oc
curred near the church. The child is
not injured seriously hut had a very
narrow escape. It is needless, to say
that Mrs. Mew regrets the accident
more than words can express and did
all she could for the little girl.
Everybody is happy that Rosalie cs-
! oaped injury.
