Dunran Bol linger, formerly of Barnwell but for many years a resident of Columbia, was laid to rest Sunday afternoon in the Barnwell Baptist Churchyard, Dr. W. M. Jones conducting the funeral services at the grave in the presence «f n large concourse of sorrowing relatives and sympathetic friends. The love and respect in which she was Held by all were attested by the many neautiful floral tributes ,,that covered ner last resting place, y* The following account of her death is taken from Sunday’s issue of The Columbia Record: • • Mrs. G. Duncan Bellinger, well known and beloved woman of Colum bia, died at a local hospital Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock after a long and painful illness during which all that science, devoted nursing anti watchfulness of lovirig^ children was done to save her life. Her death has caused a profound .sorrow, Mrs. Bellinger was the widow of the late G. Duncan Bellinger and daugh ter of Dr. James O’Bannon and Mrs. Sophie C. Brattor O’Bannon. She was bom March 27, 185S. SI e was married to G. Duncan Bellinger in June, 1K81, in Burnwell but they re moved to Columbia on the election of Mr. Bellinger as attorney gem ral of South Carolina .in 1890. Surviving are her two sons, C. time with relatives and friends in Williston. ' Messrs. Laurie Hair and Holley Kennedy, of Williston, spent last Sun day with Mr. George Cook.
