Barnwell and Industries
The People wishes to commend the
business men of Barnwell for the
spirit they are showing in the effort
to induce a large textile concern to
locate hce. In offering exemption
from taxes and a free site, they have
shown their progressiveness. Whether
or not we get this factory, the splen
did spirit of cooperation displayed
by the business people augurs well
for the future progress and well-be
ing of this city.
While we are heart and soul in the

program which was to follow.
A campaign was put on for the
month of March and n prize was of
fered to the member bringing in Ihe
largest number of new members. The
many friends of Mis. S. A. McNab
will be pleased to know that she won
this prize, she having to her credit 22
out of a possible 30 members. Mrs.
McNab is one of the oldest charter
