Now that the General Assembly has
carried over until the next session
the measure to prohibit the* use of
swimming pools on Sunday, The
Greenville News suggests the rais
ing of additional revenue by the fol
lowing scale of taxes on this “lux
ury.”
“A tax of one cent a stroke on
swimmers.
“A tax of one cent a dive on divers.
“A tax of one dollar a peep on
peepers."
