of the govenhment’s esr.mate of the
1924 cotton crop, sho^'ing a probable-
yield of only 11,93vf>00 bales, with
a condition of 68.5 per cent, there
was a sensational advance or. the
New Y’ork cotton market. July cot

$10 a bale. This delivery closed at
an advance of alsiut $7.50 a bale,
