A marriage of interest to a wide
circle of friends in this -urtion of the
State was that of M.s- Alma Connor,
only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. I*.
Connor, and Edward A. Peterkin, of
Fort Mott, which was solemnized
Thursday afternoon of lastMweek at
free o’clock at the beautiful, country
home of the bride’s parents. The
occasion was characterized through
out by its beauty and simplicity. The
impressive ring ceremony was per
formed by the bri<!e’ s pastor, Dr. ,1.
C. Atkir.'on, of the Barnwell Metho
dist Church.
The wedding march from Lohengrin

the processional and “To an Evening

softly during the ceremony. The
marriage service was performed in
the living nrom b* fore an improvised
altar of ferns and -ha-ta daisies.

ton crepe and gold lace with acces
sories of biege. Her wrap was a
biege cape of .chenille.
Mrs. Connor, mother of the bride,
was gowned in a crepe black satin
trimmed in cream lace.
Mrs. Adams, aunt of the groom, wa-
gowned in grey crepe de chine.
