Here are a few that are good and worth saving:' White Cooklet.—Take two cupfuls of sugar, one cupful of shortening, mix nml cream well, then add two well-beaten eggs nml a cupful of milk; a greated lemon, rind or a nuttmg for flavoring may be used- fcdft four teaspoonfuls of baking pow der with two cupfuls of flour, add alternately with the milk and when well blended set on Ice for an hour or two to become stiff.
