Ea-i Barnwell, the section known
locally as “Bingham.” A stiff wind
was blowing at the time and only
hard work on the part of the. volun
teer fire department prevented the
spread of the flames to nearby dwe
lings. The origin of the fire is un
known and it had made considerable
headway when discovered. It is un
derstood that Mr. Baker’s room was
