Two-years ago the American Legion began a campaign for cleaner and more truly American films. The cam paign has been conducted by the Legion’s film service under the direc tion of Meyer. A«f a part of the cam paign the Legion has produced several pictures for exhibition in theaters throughout the country under the auspices of the 11,000 local Legion posts. These pictures have been edu- cutlonal, historical and entertaining, and the enthusiasm with which they have been received, according, to.
