Olar. It is understood that a radius
rod on the automobile broke, causing
the steering gear to lock.
The injured men were brought to
Barnwell and given medical attention
immediately. At the tme The People
went to press, the full extent of Mor
ris’ injuries had not been ascertained,
and he was still unconscious. He re
ceived a severe blow on the left side
of the head, at the base of the brain,
and attending physicans stated that
while his right side was relaxed, his
left side was rigid. It is understood
that he is to be takei^ to a hospital in
Columbia for further examination
and treatment
