resentatives of glee clubs in South j
Carolina colleges and the Univerflty
of South Carolina, held in tty' studio
of Maurice Matteson, musical director
of the university, the South Carolina
Glee Club association was organized.
'Every male institution was represent
ed except Furman.
'Aftex_the: organization, the associa
tion accepted tile'invitation of the
Columbia Rotary club and the I'niver^
sity of South Carolina to meet in Co
lumbia and the date was set for the
third week in April, 1924.
The association also accepted the
invitation of a promoter of the United
State Intercollegiate Glee Clnb asso
ciation to send a delegation to com
pete in tbi intercollegiate glee club
meet to be held in New York some
