There is a possibility ©f a part of
Bamberg County annexing with Barn
well. This territory edheists of a
strip starting at a point on Seaboard
Air Line roxd south of Olar and run
ning northward t© the Edirto river,
taking in the towns of Olar, Denmark
Govan and Lees. This territory it a
very fine farming lection and takes
in about thirty miles of additoaal
railroads and quite a lot of high value
taxable property for ft is said that
this part of Bamberg County pays
about one third of the total taxes.

was presented at the Vamp Theatre
Monday evening for the benefit of
the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the'Kpiaco-
pal Church was quite a success and
a nice sum was realized. The mem
