for the blouse she has the privilege of
combining separate skirts with separ
ate blouses, and all sorts of combina

teaspoonful of gelatin A two table-
spoonfuls of cold water and add to
the hot sirup. Now add the Juice of
half a lemon and one-half cupful of
orang»; Juice to the strawberry mix
ture; add the simp when cool and
freeze. Add the henten egg white with
two tablespoonfuls of augfcr when the
mixture Is partly frozen and continue
freezing. Raspberry Juice, removing
the seeds, may be prepared In the
same way and Is especially delielons.
Pineapple Cream Sherbet.—Take
two cupfuls of grated fresh pineapple,
cover with a cupful of sugar, let stand
three hours, fold in one cupful of
cream whipped until stiff and freeze.
Apricot Cream Sherbet.—-Measure
two cqpfuls of canned apricots which
have been mashed through the potato
rlcer. Cover, with three-fourths of a
cupful of sugar and let stand three
hours. Fold In one cupful of cream
whipped. The fresh fruit may be
used, adding a cupful of sugar..

was given to the disciples. The name

Christian. . *

salem With Alms (vv. 26-30). Because
of the oneness of Christians with
Christ and witK one another, the dis

ness of guiding parties of travelers
every summer took occasion to give
advice about clothes for the traveler.

One of ihe chief factors in the new
aspect of the fall coat, ns distin
guished from that of last year, is the
length. Fifty inches, with others dtop- |
ping to 02 inches, Is regarded as the |
proper length, or in other words, a
length that Is slightly above the ankle. ]
The height of the erect chin collar
adds Inches to the general length and j
emphasizes the straight silhouette.
