house, was accosted by a local merchant. “Why didn't you buy that bill

ness, the eftisen replied: “Why don’t you patronize your home paper and
advertise? I read it and didn’t know you had the goods I have here,
nor do I ever sea your name in tha paper inviting me to come to your
