Blackville after a pleasant visit to
relatives here.
The fot dry weather of last week
was a great aid to the farmers in
their fight on the boll waevil and it
looks now like mor* cotton will be
made in this immediate section that
at any time since 1920.

joyed, it was found that Mrs. Solo-
niton Blatt had won the high score
prize, an angel-food cake; Mrs. C.
K. Sanders cut the consolation, apd
prizes were presented to the guests
of honor. An ice course was serv
ed.
