Thomas was hostess Monday to ttye
Edward Croft chapter, U. D. C. of
Aiken. The chapter met at the
home of Mrs. 8. A. Wise in Aiken.
Mrs. Wise is a member of Hart’s
Battery chapter of Williston. Mrs.
Wise invited the Williston chapter
to meet with them. Both chapters
took part in the historical program,
which was very much enjoyed. The
spacious rooms were lovely with
ferns and spring flowers. During
the social hour the hostess served a
salad course with coffee and mints.

ing of the two chapters.

tate given to the Barnwell County
Building and Loan Association by
L. P. Wilson on the 7th day of Nov.,
1919, the said mortgage being re
corded on the 13th day of Novem
ber, 1919, in the office of Clerk of
