SUFFERS LOSS BY FIRR

stroyed by Fire Last Week.
Mr. T .S. Cave, of Barnwell, suf
fered a severe loss Tuesday night
of last wi«ek, when his barns, and
stables at Seigling, in Allendale Coin
ty were destroyed by fire, together
with five mules, about 4009
bushels of corn and Several tons pf
hay. The fire was caused by a bolt
of lightning during a thunderstorm
that passei over the’ section and
gained headway so rapidly that
tenants on the place were power-
less to save the mules. There was
no insurance.
