Harvey, State Chairman of the Wo
man's Building Committee for a
“Greater State Fair,” appointed
Mm. G .M. Greene chairman for
Barnwell County and requested her
to raise $100 in this county for the
Woman’s Building. Mrs. Greene, in
a letter to The People, states that
she has been very much discouraged
by reason of the fact that no re
sponse has l»oen made to all appeals.
She took heart again, however, when
Supt. J. D. Robison, of the BarnwclL
High School, advised her Tuesday
that hu pupils are n aponding nobly
and that a life membership will he
bought by the Iwal school this week.
