TEACHERS* EXAMINATION.
Notice is hereby (riven that the
regular fail teachers’ examination
will be held at the Court House in
Barnwell on Friday, May 12th, and
Saturday, May 13th, 1922.
The announcement of this examina
tion contains the following notice:
“The examiation will cover pri
mary licenses,—first, second and
third srrade, and general elementary
licenses ,i—first, seconu and third
(Trade.
“The examination for high school
certificates will be held later. Oppor
tunity to earn high school certificates
on examination will be afforded all
aspirants in due time.*
The examination will start prompt
ly at 9:00 o’clock a. m.

NOTICE OF ELECTION.
In accordance with Section 193 of
the statutes at large of South Caro
lina, passed at the regular session of
the Ccneral Assembly, 1909, notice is
hereby given that an election will be
held in the town of Elko, S. C., on
Tuesday. May 16th, 1922, for the
purpose of electing three trustees for
Elko School District. No. 28, to serve
until the second Tuesday in May,
1924.
Said election shall be conducted as
is provided by law for the holding
of general elections. The following
will act as managers: W. II. Man
ning, F. J. Green and D. L. String-
fellow, and the polls will be openbd
at the store of Grec«« and Co., Inc.
