The present promise of 3,216,192,000
bushels of corn is over 90,000,000
bushels in excess of any crop ever
grown and nearly 300,000,000 bushels
more than produced la^t- year. The
condition of the crop r As' predicted by
the Crop Reporting Board of the De
partment of Agriculture is 24.3 points
higher than the average and the high
est since 1906. There will be aibout
^ 200,000,000 bushels of oats more than
last year, the crop approximating
1,444,362,000 bushels.
Those figures, announced by the De
partment oi Agriculture. Mean that
hundreds of millions of dollars will go
into the hands of the farmers of
America. How many of those mil
lions remain in those hands and how
many^are allowed to ^ slip through
those hands depends''upon the indi
vidual farmers themselves

1920 to December 31st, 1920, inclu
sive. January 1st, 1921* a penalty
of 1 per cent will be added on all un
paid taxes. February 1st, an ad
ditional 1 per cent will be added;
March 1st, an additional ’'B per cent
will be added making a total of 7
per cent, penalty on all taxes. , Books
will close March 15th, 1921.
