The new law governing tree hors*
hccnars enacted at the last session of
the General Assembly in effect since
June 1st, 1920, will be enforced.
Questions will be prepared by the
Central Board of Examiners and for
warded to the County Board of Ed
ucation; the County Boards will con
duct the examination, collect all pap
ers submitted by the applicants, and
forward to the Central Board of Ex
aminers in Columbia; the Central
Board will grade the papers and is
sue the certificates.
The usual nine subjects will be in
cluded in the examination, viz, His
tory, English, Pedagogy, Arithmetic,
Algebra, Civics and Current Events,
Agriculture, Physiology, and Geog
raphy. Every prospective teacher,
and others who have no teachor't cer
tifies Lea, are ftrged to take this ex-

manager was strolling about
theVblg Chautauqua tent, which had

was heard, and two automobiles ap
