M Dollar Democracy.’
Democrats throughout the county
' are urged to contribute to the fund be
ing raised by the “Dollar Democracy
Campaign,” which is just what its
name implies. By contributing a dol
lar or more, every Democrat may
have a hand in the expected victory at
the polls next November. The Re
publicans are said to be forming a
$100,000,000 “slush fund” to insure its
'Success. Surely Democratic success is
worth |1 to each individual Democrat
in the party. See item elsewhere in
this issue relative to the campaign in
Barnwell County.

Dunbarton. July 27.—Of cordial in-
tereat to a wide circle of friends is
the announcement of the marriage of
Mr. Tillman D. Fenters, of George
town, and Miss Eva L. Bennett, of
Dunbarton, which occurred on Wednes
day morning at 11:00 o’clock at the
Rev. Peeler’s home in Barnwell. Ow
ing to the recent illness of the bride’s
father, the marriage was very quiet,
only the relatives and a few intimate
friends being present. The ceremony
was impressively performed by the
Rev. Peeler.
The bride was lovely in a ' pink
georgette gown made bouffant effect
and with a close fitting bodice. She
wore a becoming picture hat of white
georgette and her flowers were a
beautiful shower bouquet of white
