Bran. 10 pounds; arsenate of lend or
arsenate of lime or Peris green, one
pound; orrangss or lemons, alx
pounds; cheap syrup or molasses r
two quarts; water, two gallons.
Mix the dry bran and the poison In
a wash tub.- -Add the syrup. Chop
the orange or lemons flnley and add
Juice pulp and all. Then add the wa
ter and stir to dampen It thoroughly.
Then add asmuch water as may be
necessary tomake It a moist, crumbly
mass that will sow easily. Usually
onegallon of water Isrequlred. While
fresh the wet fruity mash isvery ati
tractive but whendry or stale it is
not eaten. This mixture is applied
latein the evening or very early in
themorntng. Itshould not be sown
just before ashower ami be rain may
wash the poison from the bran flakes.
Little of the mixture Is eaten after
the first day and a second application
on may be necessary.

A. C. Coward has been appointed
to make the trip and will visit all
rural districts as well as # towns in

form to the laws to answer tor their

The trip will cover the entire state.

Siberian Exports Ready.
According to a dispatch from Omsk,
Siberia, a committee has been formed
to prepare energetically for the open
ing of navigation in the Obi and Yen
isei basins. Raw materials valued
at $75,000,000 are being concentrated
for export comprising 2.500.000 squir
rel pelts, 500.000 pieces of various furs.
