The Soldier Bonus. .
The People is heartily in favor of
any sane measure for the relief of
those soldiers who were disabled in
the late World War or of the needy
relatives of those who gave their lives
in defense of their country, but we are
unalterably opposed to what a man
high in public life aptly terms “an at
tempt on the part of the American
Legion to loot the federal treasury.”
This question has been before the
American Congress forHhe past sev
eral months and has been the subject
of voluminous discussion by public
men and the press of the country.
Saturday the Republicans resorted to
what is known as M gag rule” and
drove a bonus bill through the House
by a vote of 289 to afleita de»
bate, we are told, “which was like a
cirrus and on a roll call vote which
was characterised by a display of pel

Then Decide
TKe bet? way to know for yourself the superiority of the
Brunswick Tire it to buy one and compare it —
That is, if the very name of Brunswick isn’t sufficient proof
to you, as it la to most men, that here is an extraordinary tire.
Thousands of men who have known the name of Brunswick
lor years, realize that a Brunswick Tire has to be^he best —♦
for a mediocre product could never bear this historic name.
Long before the Overland Trail became famous, the House
of Brunswick was established. It was one of the chief users
of rubber for fifty years before automobiles came into use.
No concern with such a history could afford to offer any-
thixif but the best. For reputations art built slowly, but can

Jfrr Constipation
To Keep Your Health- ^
you must regard Nature’s laws;andone of the
first of her lawsls “Avoid Constipation .
Nuiol works on an entirely new principle. With,
out forcing or irritating, it softens the food waste.
This enables the many tiny muscles in the in
testines, contracting and expanding in nor
mal way, to squeeze the food waste along and
out of the system.
It is absolutely harmless and pleasant to take.
Try it.
