Ortndln, Mo.—Mr». Susa Brooks, of
this place, writes: “Some time t(o
I was In a bad fix, with stomach and
liver trouble. -I did not feel good at
any time. I was very constipated,
and had headaches from this condi
tion, and had a continual hurting In my
stomach, and bad taste In the mouth.
Could tell my liver was all wrong.
“I had known of Black-Draught, so
decided to try It myself. I began with
a large dose or doses, gradually get
ting to smaller doses. It regulated my
bowels, relieved me of the hurting In
my stomach, cleaned otf my liver and
made me feel like a new person.**
If you get up in the morning feeling
as tired as you did when you went to
bed—achy, coated tongue, bad taste in
mouth, sallow complexion—then yonr
liver has not done Its full duty, and
your system hss sbsorbed the poisons
which your liver should have taken
away.
An orcaskma! dose of Tkedford's
Black-Draught will help this Impor

Columbia.—At the regular semi
monthly meeting of the Columbia Ro
tary club at the Jefferson hotel it was
decided upon recommendation of the
boys’ work committee to set apart one
afternoon in the near future when
Rotarians will give a half , day of
their time and the use of automobiles
to give an outing to some of the “un
der-privileged” boys of the city. To
the parents who are able to give their
children pastimes it might be a reve
lation to know the meager life of
some of the boys in the poorer sections
of ths city and^he committee, after
conference with proper persons, will
find as many boys as the Rotarians
can carry, and It will be ths effort of
ths club to give them a day of sport
and merriment F. C. Withers Is
chalrmaa of the committee of arrange

Are You Human? ,
A little Uhy. A little child.’ Don't they appeal to you? t yoqT a
A fceirtteani to pick them up, to cuddle them close to you, to shield that*. %
from all harm? sure It doce else you're not human. Being human you love q
them. Their very helplessness makes you reach out in all your strength to SM
them. In health there's no flower so beautiftil. In illness there s no night 10
black. * * *
' Save them then. Use‘every precaution. Take no chance.
When sickness comes, as sickness will, remember its just a baby r just a
child and if the Physician isn’t at hand don’t try some remedy that you may
have around the house for your own use.
' Fletcher’s Castoria was made especially for babies’ ills and you can use
it with perfect safety as any doctor will tell you. Keep it in the house.

not secure Kainit, should make an effort to get
Manure Salt for side dressing to aid in making a
big Cotton Crop.
Muriate of Potash
50 per cent actual Potash, has been coming forward
also,—100 pounds of Muriate are equivalent to 400
pounds of Kainit or 250 pounds of Manure Salt
These are the three
Standard GERMAN Potash Salts
that were always used in making cotton fertilizers
and have been used for all these years with great
profit and without any damage to the crop.
The supply is not at present as large as in former
years, but there is enough to greatly increase the
Cotton Crop if you insist on your dealer making
the necessary effort to get it for you.
