Carranza./
Carranza’s death is not a surprise.
He has met the fate which generally
befalls desposed Mexican Presidents
who delay their departure for the
coast a little too long.
Despite all that he did—-or seemed
to do—against us, there will be not
a little sympathy for him in the
United States. He was an old man
and he was game. He stayed at his
post in Mexico City until the fight had
been lost. Obregon himself pays tri
bute to the dead President’s courage.
That he had ability there is no doubt.
Persistently wrong-headed though he
seemed to be in regard to the most
vital matters, nobody but a man of
brains could have controlled turbu
lent Mexico for so long a period or
kept his seat as President against so
many foes. He did harm, perhape
irreparable harm, to his country
through his obstinate antagonism to
America which prevented the estab
lishment of America*-Mexiraa re

Buy the Tire
That Wins
Now that Miller Tirls
have done so much, and won
tomiich, you owe^them this:
Put one on a rear wheel
and watch it. Compare it
with the opposite tire.
Mark how the tread lasts.
Mark the mileage that you get.
Then adopt the Miller, or
reject it, on that record.
New-Day Tires
Miller is the leader of the
new-day tires.
- Miller experts have in late
years almost doubled mileage.

Miller Coeds la^t year, in

averaged 15.000 miles.
Miller is winning million*

The Sensation .
Miller Tire records are
talked about everywhere.
The tire has become the sen
sation. It is a marvel of uni
formity.
It dominates in the hard
est fields, as on California
stage lines.
See what it does on your
car. Compare it with others,
then adopt the tire that wins.

“I was in a worn-out condition. My

sleep well. I was tired all the time.
I couldn’t half eat, and didn’t rest

*‘We heard of Ziron, and from what
I read, I was sure it wouldn’t hurt me,
if it didn’t help me. But after taking
it I found it really helped me, and I
sent back for more. I ate better, felt
much stronger. I am sure Ziron la
a splendid tonic.” ,
Many people, who are worn down and
