stable, returned here after a few days
spent in Marion county, where he,
ably assisted by Sheriff -Edwards,
captured three stills, destroying 50 gal
lons of beer, and arrested three ne
groes, chariged with operating illegal
distileries. On the train he arrested
a young white man and on searching
his suit case found three gallons of
moonshine. The young fellow was
given a preliminary before the magis
trate here and released on a $300 cash
bond.
