Mr. James J. Ray, of Healing
Springs, who was in tne city Monday
announces the opening of ‘‘Zelda
Springs,” about three miles from
B^ackville, and invites the public to
visit the spring and '‘sample” the

given that th£ regular spring teachers’
examination will be held in the Court
House at Barnwell mn Satuniay, May
1st, 1920, beginning at 9:30 a. m. and
closing promptly at 4:00 p. m. •
The examination will be based upon
the following-subjects: Agriculture
History, English, Algebra, Arithn\etic,
Physiology, Hygiene, Civics and Cur
rent events, Pedagogy and Geography.
All teachers’ and prospectiva teach
ers are hereby notified that this is
the last teachers’ examination before
the law providing for the central
Board of examiners is in operation.
