Cheater.—The Chester chamber of
commerce received a letter from W.
L. Stanley, of Atlanta, general attorn
ey of the Seaboard Air Line railway,
stating that work will start on the
handsome new’, passenger station
here at an earl/ date.
This station was promised Chester
in April, 1918, by the Seaboard, but
owing to the war and the government
taking over the railroads, the matter
was held up until the return of the
railroads to private ownership.
