to be set may be dug. dynamited or
plowed out. However, plowing is
more economical and is recommended,
as more thorough cultivation between
the trees can he given. In the use
of dynamite, which is recommended
ia some cases, care should be taken
not to plant the trees too early after
dynamiting, and to stir the soil mell
before setting.

When Allendale county was cut of£
from. Barnwell county, it was a nec
essary consequence that voting pre
cincts bn >or near theTiew county line
would need rearrangement. In order
to accomodate voters the legislature
decided to open a new’ voting precinct
called Meyer’s Mill precinct, for the
ben elfjt of voters wno had formerly
voted at either Robbins or Dunbarton,
but who lived nearer Meyer^s Mill 4*9
