as directors of the new’ concern: Le-
Roy Wilson, E. G. Melvin, R. H. Walk
er, P. J. Fulmer, J. J. Walker, J. H.
Hewlett, T. B. McFair, Laurens You-
mans and E H. Oswald.

morning. Hostilities are said to have
started when one of the gargges in

ty we want to use every’ means to dea
troy all weevils possible before kill
ing frost. As soon as killing frost
lulls all weevils have left the <*0tton
fields and found winter quarters.
Therefore at once cut down and plow
under all cotton stalks and clean up
all trash. By doing the above a large
r,u/ber of weevils will be destroyed.
Ibis will increase our chances of mak
ing a better crop of cotton next year
provided not ever 5 to 8 acres of cot
ton is planted to the plow.
Fence your fields and grow more
hogs and peanuts and less Boll Weev
ils. ^

tives and intimate friends. The young
couple motored to Barnwell, where
they boarded a West bound Atlantic
Cpast Line train. The bride is a
charming young lady and the groom,
who is the eldest son of Auditor R. W.
