of the Statu Teachers' association of
South Carolina, has Just received
instruction from W J. Craig, chairman
of the Southern passenger traffic
committee in Atlanta, advising that
special, rates will apply from all points
in SOuth Carolina for „the State
Teachers’ association meeting to 1)0
held in Columbia, November 2-29.
Teachers will buy their tickets at
; their home ticket offices, paying regu
lar one way fare, and upon tickets be
ing properly validated in Columbia,
-| the teachers will he sold a ticket for
return for one-third of the regular one
way fare. This concession by the
railroads will mean a great deal to
teachers in attendance and will no
doubt induct many teachers to at
tend.
