Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Grubbs and
three little sons, Mims/ Francis and
Billy, have returned to their home in
Montgomery, Ala., after a visit to the
former’s father and mother, Mr. and
Mrs. J. M. Grubbs.
Rain interferred with a game of
baseball between Barnwell and Den
mark on the local diamond Wednes
day afternoon. At the end of the
third inning the score stood 1 to 0 in
favor of the visitors. ,
The Barnwell baseball team was
victorious over the Denmark aggrega
tion at Denmark Monddy afternoon,
the final score being 3 to 0. The game
was called at the end of the seventh
inning on account of darkness.
