upon, the question of floating bomis to
provide waterworks, for the town of
Williston was held Tuesday and car
ried almost unanimously, only five
votes being, cast against it.

and sign the same. Within three days
thereafter, the Chairman of the Board,
or some one designated hy the Board,
must deliver to the Commissioners of
Barnwell’s Cotton Crop Condition.
The condition of the cotton crop in
Barnwell County on May 25th was 7f>
per cent, of normal, according to an
estimate of the Bureau of Crop Esti
mates, United States Department of
Agriculture, made public through its
South Carolina Field Agent, Mr. B.-B,
Hare, of Saluda. The condition in
Allendale County was estimated at 77
per cent.
Commenting on the report Mr. Hare
says:
“Planting was delayed on account of
unfavorable weather conditions for ten
days or two weeks, and the Month of
